Nancy is soon to be a resident of Illinois! In March, she will relocate to the Chicago area with her family in support her husband’s promotion with a Chicago-based company. Although physically located in Illinois, Nancy will continue her employment with BEH and her provision of outstanding legal services for BEH clients by telecommuting. Our clients will not experience any disruption in the conduct of their legal work. We are very pleased for Nancy and her family and look forward to our continuing relationship with her at her new home base.
Our attorneys contribute to local and regional publications, conferences and training forums. Our quarterly newsletter Gov-Law Connection updates on important cases, statutes, rules and other matters germane to the legal needs of the Northwest’s local governments.
We are pleased to announce that Chad Jacobs has joined BEH as a Senior Associate Attorney. Presently he is transitioning from his position as General Counsel at League of Oregon Cities, and will join our firm full time on October 1, 2011. Prior to coming to Oregon, he was Deputy City Attorney at City and County of San Francisco. He attained his Juris Doctorate at the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, and his undergraduate degree at American University.
Chad's extensive background in local government law further strengthens the firm's competitive advantage in offering clients quality legal services, and we are excited to have him aboard.
